END OF A YEAR!!!!!

PAY OFF a stunning day!!!!

I got up at 7am to be at work DOING 2 hours watering !!!!!! I SOOOOOOOOOOO want to win BIG WED or LOTTO and NOT HAVE TO WORK!!!! IN saying that there is a certain hypnotic quality in watering quite peaceful, AND the neighbours are kindly turning off LARGE back sprinkler so I dont have to contend with traffic and go BACK! THEY live on other side of town NOT HANDY when its bumper to bumper!!!!

GOT home 9.20 AND I HIT THE PAVEMENT did a very quick 5km and home again before 10.30am so that was GOOD AND IT WAS SOOOOOOOOO fresh here this morning that walking at 9.20am WAS NO PROBLEM and even getting home at 10.30am NOOOOOO PROBLEM!!!! Thought my legs would be stiff from yesterdays effort BUT NOPE so YAY!!! It was lovely to be out n about and Samuel was riding his bike alongside and it was nice SO NO EXCUSE not too walk,kids can BIKE!!!! or walk alongside or run as HE DOES then RUNS back and says come on come on!!! CHEEKY BLIGHTER!

JUST purchased a BREVILLE JUICER off TM and its in ROTORUA for pick up SO MAYBE JAXX if your reading this PWETTY PLEASE could you pick up OR I WILL GET JAMES TO!!!

YAY I have been sooooooooooo TRYING hard to get one for months and now I scored a good priced one too they are $200 and you can get them new for around $160-$150(in sales) BUT they aren't worth that so $60 is a GREAT SCORE!!!

EVERYONE whatever you are doing today tonight be safe and just relax!!

SEE YALL tomorrow and YES I WILL be up EARLY walking and watering (I have a cunning plan) I will go to work and put on little sprinklers first where the large sprinkler doesn't reach and walk for 45 mins - 60 mins around their block and pathways then come back and HANDWATER then put on backyard sprinkler and IM A DONE BURGER!!!! (EXCITING MUCH!)

I have spaghetti and meatballs in crockpot already AND have garlic bread to go with it! I am a clever girl at times I am now sunbathing AND THEN ITS A CARD GAME feast we are playing CRIB, POKER, CANASTA, and THEN LAST CARD!!!

Movies YAY...........

I was up at 6.05am toilet (TOM), 12 days late last month it was 11 DAYS EARLY!! WTF anyhoo I went walking 6.9km 68 mins YAY last 1 km legs a bit sore nothing drastic! left at 6.40am got home 7.48!! really hot last 20mins BUT I HAVE to wait to go to the toilet AND ITS A DARN PAIN IN THE ASS! 40 mins jacking around waiting I could complete 4km in that time god dam it!!!

SUNNY and WINDY as here so YAY 3 loads washing on and hung out to dry I am getting dressed and heading into the movies in 5 mins MOVIE starts 10.05am BUT I will have traffic to contend with and a park to find and then YOU GET the picture!

I am seeing the movie "The Lovely Bones", tomorrow I might see Time Travellers Wife AND on the weekend I might see Where The Wild Things Are....YAY!! boys went and saw Sherlock Holmes yesterday THEY LOOOVVVEEEED it walked in and walked back BECAUSE I SAID traffic too darn horrendous to contend with I was already in town so there ya have it.

4 and a half hours in town got there 8.30am got home 12.30!!!!!! TOWN is a right off.....

Went supermarket FIRST 10 mins max, got a few groceries for our pizzas tonight YUM, then lotto big wed etc!!! Then stopped at hairdressers booked appointment for my friend at 10am!! THEN INTO IT went to POST OFFICE no queue first in 5 mins flat out door then to ANZ about a 10 min wait nothing dramatic DONE, then to Health store for more Naturopathic drops for SINUS she makes them up for me, done into KATHMANDU WHAT A RIP OFF over inflated prices even on sale! had a browse around Whitcoulls spied some NICEEEEEEE presents for 2010 xmas and will get some next week CHEAP AS CHIPS and great little stocking filler gifty things YAY I am planning on being super mondo organised LIKE I USED TO BE!!! presents bought and DONE by JUNE normally, and approx$300 - $450 saved in Woolworths vouchers, Pak n Save vouchers and petrol vouchers!!about $130 each. Which is about $10 per week STARTING this week!

We looked at bag clips might have to moocha round at Bayfair for something, went into Smiths sport shoes saw some $240 sneakers and that was half price AND might get them next month or the month after!

HAD A much needed small piece of PLUM SHORTCAKE and yoghurt with a trim latte decaf, then stopped at warehouse then home!!!!! TRAFFIC ATROCIOUS!!! in and out of town, glad my jobs are done for the week and now I can relax and AS I TYPE I have just scoffed a whole bag of chips PLAIN and had a beer!!!! cause I didnt have lunch no wonder I was hungry!!! I should have had something more substansial at the coffee shop poopy!(PIGGY I ARE) and I dont care. BEER IS GOING TO MY HEAD!!! eekk nana nap beckons me thinks. Lads have gone to movies then library and I am going to movies tomorrow......

I HAVE OFFICIALLY run out of jobs I HAVE cleaned my handbag and cleaned my jewellery (I use baking soda an old tootbrush ) and rinse in hot soapy water!!! It is sparkling and super clean yay.

Still raining on and off I THINK I will go for a walk this evening just a ramble to wind down and compensate for the chippies and beer.

Finally we had rain and it was GOOD rained on and off yesterday and ALL last night yay!!! I can breathe comfortably for the first time in ages!!! (sinus).

Had a lovely lunch yesterday with Janine and Jaxx and ALL of us forgot to take pictures DUH!!! never mind eh..

Am out the door soon to walk and hopefully into town early BEFORE it gets too hectic we got GIVEN a XMAS HAM and so far we have had ham steaks xmas morning brekkie, ham salad and new potatoes ham cheese and pineapple sandwiches (toasted), Last night HAM pasta TONIGHT with nearly the last of the ham HOMEMADE PIZZA I love XMAS HAM yummmmmmmoooo I just have to get the pizza bases and some lite chilly philly stuff.

Going to look at a sunbathing mat at Kathmandu today and some walking shoes at Smiths Sports Shoes! (I know the owners very well ) I want a pretty key ring holder that clips onto side of your handbag and you hang the keys off it SO you are not digging in your bag!!! MY old handbag I could clip the keys onto handle NEW handbag I cant waaaaaaa! Might post a photo or two later.

RIGHT WALK BECKONS yesterday made the mistake of walking later at about 8am TOO HOT the sun was breaking through and HUMIDITY was high and IT WAS AWFUL!!! So I got up earlier today so I can get out earlier ( and of course I cant go until I have been to the LOO!!!!) which hasn't happened yet been up 30 mins SO NOW I am going to do step ups I DID 300 step ups yesterday AND VOILA instant TOILET!!!! lol I have a front door step JUST one but it is wide and THE MOST DECENT height to really make you work hard!!! SO THATS ME my Gluteous Maximus was sore yesterday just from the 300 yesterday SURPRISED I CAN WALK today!!!!

OHHH FOR THE RAIN it is bliss RIGHT I AM OFF!!!! BIG MISTAKE waited until I could walk got 1km down rd HAD to scurry back to go to the toilet nothing major no mishaps THEN IT STARTED to RAIN and HEAVY so i did 300 step ups and thought fark it OUT I GO and I DID a very quick 3km walk!!! GOT SOAKED and have had shower THATS ME now into town.

Dinner .....

We went out last night to some Fijian Indians for dinner the food WAS how would you say INTERESTING, not my cup of tea but very nice all the same and A LOVELY couple with a 2 1/2 year old (very energetic), THEY have no family here in NZ so are a bit lonely the man works with my Jason. (and his wife is sooooooo beautiful Dark beautiful) It was so nice not to have to cook and they spoiled us I took 2 bottles sparkling grape juice and some ROSES chocolate.

Today I am off walking soon (just waiting waiting waiting at the moment), THEN hopefully I will get time to spare and have coffee with Janine and Jaxx THEN I have an afternoon of work. (then I am working approx 1 - 2 hours daily until the family get back) doing maintainence things watering mostly nothing strenuous. WE HAVE HAD NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Rain here for weeks IT IS getting very DRY and yuccccky when it does rain we will have flooding FOR SURE. I ams ooooo looking forward to 3rd Jan - 5th when we go away for a couple of days...

When we head over to the beach OHOPE I AM THINKING leaving early morning 3rd spending day with the family I work for then heading to Te Puke that afternoon (late afternoon) and staying with a friend on Sunday 3rd WE ARE GOING Kwang Chow a chinese smorgasbord restaurant IT IS DIVINE , GOING to Avatar the movie at Te Puke IT HAS 3D!!!! (Taupo cinema does not have 3D. Then on Monday I am going shopping at BAYFAIR (yay NEW PANTS I HOPE!!) Chen and Samuel will go to pools all morning and lunch etc over at the mall, THEN MONDAY night is MONSTER TRUCKS at Bayfair we are all going YAY!!!! Heading home Tuesday morning early before HEAT STARTS, CHEN starts back at language school Jan 6th so will be home 5th.

Was going to stay at OHOPE for a few days but it is close to $500 to stay in a unit AND I WOULD rather see everyone and use money for petrol and food instead of accommodation petrol and food!! I cant afford $1000 because IM sure it would get right up there (what with food petrol and shopping as well).

Is overcastish again THAT means when it BURNS off it is going to be stinking hot again POOPY!

Awoke 6am AND rolled over and promptly went back to sleep, I AM knackered after yesterdays effort, so thought what the hey I AM sleeping in!!!! AND I DID.

Got up 7.15am waiting to pit stop and have (fingers crossed BECAUSE my friend is already at work now!!!!!) and I HAVE no emergency back up if I need picking up........ (cant wait for Samuel to learn to DRIVE!!!!!!)

We are doing lawn edges this morning in the cool BOYS are vacuuming and dusting I will do IRONING I DIDNT do it yesterday WHEN I GET BACK FROM A WALK!!!!! Will squeeze in more sunbathing OH RIGHT like I have toooooooooo I'm ON HOLIDAY LOOOVVVVVEEEEE IT!!!!

Boys might see Alvin and the Chipmunks WE are taking some time off to head over Te Puke way around 3rd - 5th Jan and spend some time with friends, WILL see AVATAR the movie in Te Puke's 3D movie theatre!!!! (TAUPO movie theatre isnt 3D YET) I also want to see Under the Mountain and Where the Wild Things Are (that was my all time favourite story as a child). My hardcover 35 year old book went to a niece WISH I HADN'T now I bought myself a $9 soft cover at Whitcoulls 50% Sale before xmas WRAPPED it for myself from myself!

RIGHT a WALK beckons as sun is breaking through overcast sky SO IT WILL be TOO DARN HOT SOON have a good day everyone AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!

WELL no movies today I walked AND DID VERY WELL 5km in 48 mins THAT IS MORE LIKE IT and I finished by 9.30am was overcast BUT WINDY and coolish and got home WE DID EDGES and some gardening (I AM PROCRASTINATING and putting off the ironing GOD DAM IT!), I did some washing and have read watched TV, then SUNBATHED 20 mins a side NICE!!! Had a wee siesta too, RIGHT I WILL DO THE IRONING right NOW!!!! I am heading out to dinner we have been invited out tonight YAY no cooking!!!

An awesome DAY yesterday......

THE DAY started off with food and when my friend got home we had HOMEMADE chicken liver bacon and port pate!crackers chips dip nuts cheeses, THEN the cooking of THE BIRD began (Turkey) stuffed with pinenut mushroom sausage meat stuffing , served with Roast baby kumara,parsnip,potatoe,pimpkin(buttercup ONLY), served with fresh garden beans, fresh asparagus gourgettes BABY carrots homemade gravy and CRANBERRY JELLY!!!!! I had 2 kumara 2 med potatoe halves, half parsnip small pumpkin whitemeat of turkey stuffing and HUGE AMOUNT of VEGES (greens), followed BY home made trifle and whipped cream YUMMO!!! I also had 12 mini snax crackers with PATE, 2 small handful chips and some dip, a small handful NUTS, 5 scorched ALMONDS I managed to drink 2 litres of WATER through the day!!!! I had 1 RTD, and I Franks sparkling lime and bitters SO I FEEL I didn't do too badly!!!

After our mammoth BREKKIE which I didn't have as much as the others had , we waited until my friend got home from work then the presents began, MY SON got spoiled as he does 6 BOOKS 2 CD's 2 DVD's Gear Bag toiletries a Hexbug (really cool it moves and changes direction to CLAPS)(CAT SPOOKED already!) and THE BESTEST PRESSIE(thanks to Chris H and Stew for picking up AND POSTING!) A NERF DART GUN SET totally boy related and THE MEN of the HOUSE had a BALL WITH IT!!!

I got a Beach Shade sunbathe thingy SOME walking socks (the real expensive ones I CHOOSE THEM 70% off that REBEL SPORT stuffed up the prices with!!!) BBQ fork prodder temp thing, Willie Apiata book, HAND CREAM (collagen Elastin one I helped my language student choose that!) and a gift goodie BASKET will add photos later!

I got up at 6am this morning and waited until 6.30am before I COULD WALK!!! TOTALLY PISSED OFF I walked 5km IN 1 HOUR and 30 MINS!!!!!!!!!! TOTALLY NOT ON I can do at LEAST 8 - 9 m in that time FARKKK! and heres why.

A: my legs were sore and tight from last 2 days (GOOD), B: they were heavy and bloaty FROM YESTERDAYS EATING (NOT GOOD), C: I did one lap 1.8km and stopped for the third trip to the toilet!!! THEN I WAS determined to keep going and I DID I GOT 95% of the way around the 2nd LAP and HAD TO RING my friend at 7.15am as she was heading out to WORK, I MADE IT with nano seconds to spare!!! Now I am settling down on the PIT STOP problem, BUT this morning after being twice (TMI I KNOW) and having to call in home on the way around the first LAP I GO AGAIN, so I DO and I MARCHED straight back out and did A SHORT LAP got home 8am, 1 and a half hours 3 toilet stops BUT GLAD I perservered!!!! I KNOW output matches INPUT of food BUT GOD REALLY give me a break!!!!!!

I have tidied and am now heading out to sunbathe again BEFORE it gets STINKIN HOT AGAIN, and help my friends son LOAD a trailer up with old car parts for the DUMP so that will be my ARM workout for the day!!! DONE me cardio and legs!!!

I have a HUGE PILE of ironing WELL HUGE for my standards12 pillowcases, 3 pairs shorts, 3 casual pants, 5 t shirts 6 hankies3 singlets so NOT TOO BAD for all the washing I have been doing!!!!

SEE I TOLD yall I would be relaxing!!!! HA

Merry Xmas everyone.....

UP at 6am walked before the STINKIN heat got hold, THEN home at 7am and COOKED a MEAN AS BBQ breakfast lamb chops HAM off the bone mushrooms eggs tomatoes chunky potatoes spaghetti toast BLARDY BOOTIFUL...... I cooked extra to take to my best friend at work she worked 6am until 12 noon WE ARE heading down there now to open presents WE ALWAYS wait until she gets home from work WE ARE ALL CHOMPING at the bit to open our pressies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got a huge sunbathe in BEFORE 10.30am AS IT IS SOOOOOOOOOOO HOT here at the moment did 45 mins one side and 20 mins the other side PRETTY GOOD for me.....

We have homemade PATE crackers cheeses, chip dips nuts etc, and then THE BIG XMAS DINNER TURKEY and all the trimmings YUMMO!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay Christmas Eve one more sleep....

Up at 6am this morning went for an hour walk then drove my friends car back home from town got into my car and went into woolworths to GET BLOODY Cranberry Jelly I had forgotten and home again BY............................................. 7.40am!!!!!!!!!!

And yes I DID WET the BED!!! lol

I walked 6.1km in 60 mins SO AM ABSOLUTELY WRAPT with that.

I THEN DID my best friend (my neighbour) a VERY GOOD TURN I cleaned her fridge TOTALLY OUT and wiped and scrubbed it and THEN CLEANED her PANTRY totally top to bottom and shelves and WIPED EVERY FRIGGIN jar and container 4 HOURS!!! (last time I had time off I CLEANED HER OVEN) she is 57 and works FULLTIME is a widow and finds IT VERY tough emotionally financially etc and RUNNING a house by herself is time consuming and hard for one person she has to do ALL the things like mow lawns, gardens, house maintainence etc housework IT IS HARDER FOR ONE I reckon etc, some weeks she works 50 + hours TOO BLARDY MUCH for someone her age I TELL YA!! Ohh Samuel helped me out too HE mowed the lawns for her just the edges (all other lawn area was so short it didnt need mowing) and weeded the edges for her, HE then helped me with the PANTRY he is such a GOOD SON LONG may it LAST!!!!

Finished 12.30 so had lunch and PUT 2 loads washing on SHEETS (I AM FAST running out of jobs!!!!!) then SETTLED in for some sunbaking !!!! BLARDY FANTASTIC OFFICIALLY FOLKS I AM ON HOLIDAY I have NO MORE JOBS LEFT TO DO AT ALL!!!! I KNOW just quietly I am not going to cope with sitting and reading and sunbathing etc.... OHHHHHHH and walking first thing in the morning BECAUSE any other time is just TOO DAMN HOT!!!!!

GOLD GOLD GOLD busy who me NAH!!!

WELL 2 weeks ago I think, I got 22 more christmas decorations (30% off), today they had 50% off SO I got 26 more SO THERES ME nearly 50 extra and here are the photos IT LOOKS FAB BUT I NEED MORE THICK TINSEL!!!!! Before and AFTER notice the DIFFERENCE HELL YEAH BABY I LOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVEEEEEEE IT!!!!

Went for my walk 45 mins FASTPACED and totally NOT ABLE to breathe at the end of it!!!!!!!

Showered and in town by 8.10am supermarket (PnS) PACKED got our few things in and out in 15 mins went to WW totally quiet in and out in 10 mins then around town getting last minute things (with my friend), I drove she ran in and out and around works well got lotto and BIG WED, came home 10.30am (so did really well ) UNLOADED all the groceries and goodies $250 later (although I get $180 back from all the others combined we divvy up the total ).

HAD ham salad buns, WENT BACK into town to get 2 things we forgot BUNS and BEER!!!!! Drop off a prescription for SON, put my employers RECYCLING bin and WHEELIE BIN away so as not to STAND OUT as were AWAY on holiday etc went to BANK and newspaper office HAD A COFFEE (trim latte decaf) 1 1/2 hours later BACK HOME Hot Sweaty and quite tired surprise surprise.

I have walked alot today just in town we parked several times and WALKED around to the stores we wanted and back to car TO UNLOAD!!!

Got home 1pm got changed sunbathed read a little and now just relaxing!!!YAY ME

FINALLY a breather........

Finished yesterday 4pm instead of 5pm but in my day I CLEANED a huge fridge out, CLEANED a double pantry walls shelves and took everything off shelves, THEN cleaned an oven!!! ALL at someone elses HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!! And did someone elses washing TOO!!

Gardens being done today AND have done 2 loads washing last night SHEETS tomorrow and IM A DONE BURGER!!!!!!!!

Have been double lap walking everyday all week SO thats good NO AB WORK yet just a weeny bit knackered, BUT will get through today and then start only have to buy 3 boxes scorched almonds and IM A DONE BURGER there too!!!!!

Went xmas lights cruising last night VERY pretty and very WOW factor, took our language student he was VERY IMPRESSED!!!

Well I'm out the door walking so HAVE A GOOD day I will defiantely squeeze in some sunbathing today too. YAY and finishing reading my MANA magazine I'm halfway wrap the 3 boxes scorched almonds and THEN RELAX!!!! (bet I don't)....

Crossing things off my list all the time!!!

Only JOB left is GARDENS and thats tomorrows job every other job is done YAY.

I went to Farmers yesterday and they had BUY one item get one FREE!!! I got some beautiful plates, were $9.99 for one so two made them $5 each, Have to wrap them today and get one more pressie for my friend and thats me done.

When I have these 12 days off I will probably be BORED SHITLESS, IF I COULD be bothered I would re do our draws and wardrobes (I might or might not), could be a good inside job when its stinkin hot!!!

I have 2 more full days of work then the family I work for are away CAN'T come soon enough for me!!

I will start some ab work today and build it in somewhere and then just after xmas day will start the total gym JUST for my ARMS!!!! and doing my swiss ball and step up PRESS UPS, you lay on the swiss ball on your tummy and do press ups like that, or YOU put the step up form on the lowest level and do press ups on that I USED TO be able to do on a good day 50!!!!

I figure I have 6 weeks (well 5 and a bit now) until school goes back and want to see what difference I can make on my tummy and and arms!!! BUT like everything its finding the time and trying to fit it all in AND DO the exercise BEFORE it gets TOO DAM HOT and speaking of exercise I must get out the door and walk!!!!

Ohhhhh got some sunbathing in yesterday and WILL sunbathe again today....

Ticking off my list....

Awoke at 6.15am got up at 7am out the door at 7.30am walked for nearly an hour, THEN started on all my jobs, fridge inside and outside and under done, oven inside outside and under done, ALL CUPBOARDS done, Window tracks done vaccumming done dusting done just leaves inside windows and garage LAWNS being done now in the cool of the evening air, REALLY knackered but ACHEIVED ALOT!!!

Sunbathed too for 20 mins a side DID GROCERY shopping WHICH I HATE, and will have to shop again on Tuesday waaaaaaaaaaaaaa.


WASHING done all sheets and I washed some blankets off me bed!! BEDS remade (WHICH I had left till late this afternoon BIG MISTAKE I WAS KNACKERED) I can feel a SNORE off happening tonight FOR SURE!!!!

So only other jobs is gardens a whip round and outside windows (just a hose off and squeegee wipe) and GARAGE!!!! yay friggin yay!!!

AM hoping to sunbathe again tomorrow CAN YA call 20 mins sunbathing I think not BUT oh well IT ALL COUNTS!!!

I am not walking tonight BUT will do a double lap again tomorrow morning I think I HAVE done enough today!

Work!

Well work went wellish meant to finish at 5.30pm on A THURS finished at 6pm missed the start of the BBQ WAS NOT A HAPPY CAMPER let my bosses know in no uncertain terms I WILL BE glad when they go away and I can have some time to myself and some peace!!!!!

Worked today until 5pm meant to finish at 2pm!!! Havent done me housework or my sheets or my Friday jobs and now WILL be working all weekend to catch up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AM GOING to pull out the stove and fridge and pull EVERYTHING out of the kitchen cupboards and spring clean them THEN do the window tracks and inside of the windows, then sweep and do a quick tidy of the garage INBETWEEN doing my own housework and washing the sheets!!!!!!!!!! Next week Tues/wed will do the outside windows and gardens(gardens just need a quick spruce up) mow the lawns AND THEN ITS RELAX city!!!!!!!!

Have already emptied out the lads SCHOOL UNIFORM draw and tidied his clothes draws so he is sorted (school bag and stuff sorted for next year too). Uniforms half way there so nearly organised have got stationary and paid the school fees already so as NOT to start the year with a huge bill I have estimated just for fees(donation) and then tech fees and extra stuff SUMMER UNIFORM only and PE GEAR summer hat total cost $580 THIS does not include the WINTER uniform add another $300!!!!! WTF someone seriously needs to look at these uniform costs I MEAN why are they sooooooo damned expensive! WHICH means for me I HAVE TO take all the extra work hours thrown my way WHETHER I WANT to or not KINDA OF FUCKIN sucks but there ya have it!!!! AND I can use that as motivation to stomp through my walk tomorrow morning !!!

OHHHHHHHH did I mention I sunbathed! Well I will do that tomorrow too AM PLEASED with the brown base I am building up and on TUES will BUY some Piz Buin sun spray as I now want that dark olive bronzed sun look on my legs and arms etc!!!!!


I did however walk yesterday and THIS morning so felt good about that, AM going for a double walk tomorrow 2 laps of my morning route and then 1 lap at night of the same route!!!

I DID HOWEVER at work today sunbathe today whilst watching the kids, 30mins each side of lower legs only though. So suppose that counts towards the end result eh!

Hope everyone is relaxing I am up late CAUSE we have been playing CRIB!!! Samuel won one game and I won 2 games!!!! We also knocked out a couple of games of scrabble I want to GET up EARLY so I aren't walking in the heat or SUN!!!! LETS SEE whether or not I are up EARLY!!!!!

WELL WELL WELL .....

We got to school early I flung me trailer on just in case AND YIP we used it SO BONUS!!!! With Samuel and I there AND ME ORGANISING as I do, we had knocked 90% down by 12 noon there was alot of lifting and alot of walking up 3 steps with boxes so GOT A GREAT workout!!!! I left and Samuel stayed until just after 1pm stacking desks and chairs!!! The teacher dropped him off and got to see me in my TOGS and my LOVELY LAVA LAVA (SARONG) nooooiiiiiiiiiiiiiiccccccccccccceeeee haha CAUSE I GOT to sunbathe 20 mins a side WAS GREAT!!!!!!

The teacher was thrilled and SAID he could never have gotten through that MUCH on his own CONTRACTORS are itching to get into classrooms and start!!!!! Now all the TEACHER has to do is file and sort AND have a jolly good HUCK OUT he said LONG OVERDUE!!!! He said to Samuel infront of me YOUR MOTHER would have made a PERFECT Quartermaster or General in an ARMY she has exceptional organisational skills and can visualise how and where things need to go SAMUEL REPLIES "yeah she is soooooo like that at home SHE can whip a house into shape in 2 DAYS FLAT thats inside cupboards wardrobes and HOUSEWORK windows GARAGE THE WORKS", HE replied "I BET!!!!!" they laughed we all laughed!

IS beautiful DAY so now I am heading into town and then to WORK then I will join BBQ just after 5.30pm...........

I was up EARLY 6am and out the door by 6.15am walking IT WAS BEAUTIFUL BUT for our beautiful days WE HAVE HAD 2 frosts YIP FRIGGIN FROSTS!!!!!! And this morning was freezing!!!

Had an awesome day at school yesterday got hugs from all THE CHILDREN I teacher Aide too and thank you's and I WILL MISS YOU, AND AM I GONNA be there teacher Aide next year (they mostly were year 7), after a long 2.5 hr assembly IT WAS OVER, and the Principal and Deputy Principal both asked me back for next year,so I AM THRILLED YAY!!

The Principal is a wonderful man and he spoke of a colleague lost to the school back in April a teacher that had taught at the school for 19 years!!!!! HE BROKE DOWN and it was soooooo sad to have to sit and watch, all the teachers were crying and his class IT WAS very emotional.

I was invited to an afterschool lunch BUT had to work!!!!! Man it was some spread too. AS I ALWAYS DO!!! nevermind NEXT YEAR I PLAN to be there with bells on.Today I am back at school helping some of the teachers MOVE CLASSROOMS they were given 48 hours notice FROM the contractors they ARE MOVING in to refurbish FUNDING was approved from MOE and well WHEN you have to move 15 years resources (as in one class and teacher THEY ACCUMULATE SOME SHYTE!!!)

Samuel and I are helping from 9 - 3 THEN we are off to a BBQ for the language school student and teachers are putting on a BBQ for the homestay families and hosts!!!! (nice no cooking dinner), BUT I WILL walk again tonight if I have to that will be dependant on how MUCH WALKING and liftng I do today BECAUSE all the gear I have to shift today is all in boxes that have to be walked out of one class and across half the school to the other class SO NICE WORK walking and lifting GOOD I NEED IT!!!!!, BUT after walking a thousand miles yesterday with messages, kids ,classes desks I didnt walk last night as I got home from work at 8.30pm and WAS KNACKERED!!

I wont get any sunbathing in today kinda pissed about that never mind I may stop for half and hour and just BUNG me lower legs in the sun 15 mins a side BETTER THAN nothing AS I SURE as hell DONT want the teachers to see ME IN MY TOGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Got into some trousers I havent had on for 3 years SO AM wrapt with that,saves me having to buy some EH!

AND thats what I intend to do!!!!

Today I had 2 SHARED lunches AND ate a few bits n bobs of chocolatey things BUT not much, I walked 2 laps this morning of my route and I WENT for a quick walk tonight for 30 mins TO help shift some of the EXCESS eating!!! Pretty pleased with myself for doing that AND I am walking in the morning then off to school then SCHOOL ASSEMBLY then work THEN HOME!!!!!!!! YAY and I will squeeze in a night walk too!

Have wrapped and sorted all the teachers xmas pressies, and done all me cards!!!!!! so pleased with myself YAY AM finished all me jobs for the WEEK am pleased with that too!

I think however I have to work all DAY Thursday and most of SATURDAY NOT pleased about that!!!

Oh well headin off to nae nae's SEEN as I am up walking again in the morning!!

Ohhhhhh have managed some good sunbathing in the last few days AND cheated this morning by rubbing Dove Summer Glow into my lower legs AS I AM wearing a skirt tomorrow!!!!! and I rubbed some more in tonight SO WILL have BROWN as legs by tomorrow morning YAY!!!!!!!

ARRIVED....

Me baby arrived 9.35pm Friday night and in the drizzle THE WEATHER all week was brilliant the SWAM, fished, dived, snorkelled,abseiled, tramped AND HAD A BALL!!!!! From the swimming in the lagoon with PLANKTON at night that GLOWED flourescent!!! when they moved or splashed the water around them GLOWED to the fresh oysters eaten straight from the water to the FRESH tarakihi and snapper they had for brekkie(lucky barstads!) to the marine life and he WENT into Mansion House for the tour and LOVED the history and the house nad the furniture etc!!!!

We unpacked bags put first of 2 loads of washing on and yakked HE started with Monday and yakked through to FRIDAY!!!!! blow by blow it was so nice to have him home!!!

I went to work early on Friday after a big walk so I could A: SUNBATHE and then I went to the MOVIES YES I went to the movies to see Julie and Julia IT WAS AMAZING I totally got lost in the movie and thoroughly enjoyed it!!! came home DID monster housework SO SAMUEL didn't have to do anything, then I waited for him to arrive.I stayed up late and hung out his togs and rash tops and light CLOTHES so they would dry overnight etc and I got 2 clotheshorses of stuff dry that way AND hung out the towels later in the day on saturday when it fined up and the sheets (washed those) and bedding he took on camp aired out those and the pillows etc and BLANKET.

Saturday I went for a longish walk 6km thats long for me at the moment then I hung out the rest of the washing and WRAPPED the teachers pressies and did some reading SAMUEL stayed in PJ's all day rather tired!!!! Lost his voice too!!!! Then I ironed all the stuff I had washed then realised I had missed the timeline for My sisters keeper movie and was rightly pissed off.Did a nice savoury macaroni cheese for dinner with garlic bread.

Sunday hugely fine went for another walk YAY SO did all the sheets (except samuels of course), then I SUNBATHED for 40 MINS SIDE and read a book had a snooze hung out more washing AND THEN I rushed off to the movies AND I THOROUGHLY enjoyed My Sisters Keeper it was intense and sad and then got organised and HAD a BBQ dinner!!! Next door neighbours son's birthday so we all ate together!!! END OF day and weekend VERY NICE!!!!

HAVE done 75% of my jobs for next week already so BY END MONDAY will have done all my jobs for the week SO I CAN be stress free a little longer. HAVE a BBQ to go too on Thursday night OUR language students school host a HOST family dinner and treat there homestay parents etc!!! NICE Have a shared lunch at school with ne of the classes I help in so that will be nice TOO!!!

NO MOVIES waaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Well did another long walk and HAD MY SUNBATHE yip a whole 15 mins one side and 17 mins the other I AM A SUN GODDESS NOT!!!!!!!!

I finished work at 6.15pm and the movies started 6pm I MISSED IT !!!!! Blardy hell I AM DETERMINED to go BUT WHEN fark it!

I am finishing earlier tomorrow in the hope my friend and I will head out too dinner as I get Samuel back around 9.30pm - 10pm Friday and he will be shattered AND THEN all the WASHING I have too contend with!!!!! (ohhh yippee) (no seriously yipee).

MAYBE I could squeeze the movies in Thursday or Friday (oh shyte) I remembered I promised to go to a business launch on thursday of Year 7 students of a class I help out in ! I HAD BETTER GO they are expecting me its from 5.30pm till 7pm!! oh there goes thursday movies!BUGGER IT!

Was hot as last night BUT dew on the ground this morning when I went walking at 6.15am in fact alot of dew!!!!

Is nearly thursday already WHERE has all the week gone!!!!!

A stunning DAY...............

SUPERB day I got up at 6am went for an hour walk (2 laps of the circuit I walk instead of 1 so I WAS pleased) took my language student to school they went on an out of town trip 7am - 6pm, did a few jobs in town before work at 9am went to school etc, SUNBATHED but only 20mins per side TOO DARN HOT!!!! then back to work until 11pm!!!! HAS been a long day HAVEN'T heard from Samuel so no news is good news!!!!! THE WEATHER is stunning and they will be thoroughly enjoying themselves at Kawau Island North of AUCKLAND!

Tomorrow WORK morning 9 - 1pm then sunbathe again then work 2pm until 7pm THEN MOVIES I still haven't seen Julie n Julia or My sisters Keeper I AM DETERMINED to see them both this WEEK!!! either WED night and Friday arvo or Friday arvo and Sat morning!!! ohhhhhhhh and Under the Mountain starts Thursday OH GOD THE DECISIONS.

Last night went and finished the last of my xmas shopping and WRAPPED all our pressies WHILST Samuel isnt here!!!!!!!!!! So he can't peek etc!!! YAY I am getting more organised and THAT MEANS more spare time to walk!!!!!

Xmas tree medley

6 MONTHS ........ and MY xmas tree!!!

Well the time has come SIX MONTHS since I have had my hair straightened and here is the photo of my hair....... I went to the hairdressers yesterday for a haircut pre xmas etc AND SHE said I will definately get 8 months out of it BEFORE the top up straighten SO THAT IS WAYYYYYYYYYYY COOL!!!!

Didnt walk wed thurs as RAINING and blurrrrrrkkkkkkkk and WORKED so hard this week was knackered HOWEVER I did walk a short walk Friday BUT yesterday went for a decent walk and AM JUST waiting on washing to finish then I wil be out the door for another walk AND THEN SOME SUNBATHING as NO sunbathing last week due to weather well not much sunbathing, got some in yesterday though, was nice .

Son is FULLY packed and ready even got 3/4 lunch ready for tomorrow just has to add water bottle and frozen yoghurt and sandwich!!!! Has had earlyish nights to bed and decent dinners IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO damned excited!!!!

Am off for awalk now and then I will sunbathe AND THEN I have IRONING oh yay!!!!

Well mad at myself NO WALK tonight and WHY I HEAR YA!!!!!

I started work at 5.30am and finished at 8pm tonight WITH only 30 min lunch inbetween!!!

I AM OFFICIALLY KNACKERED today so didn't push myself to walk as I FEARED I MAY FAINT!! nah kidding I didn't go for a walk as I was too tired !!

Ended up at horror house of sick people!!! and then to school (I KNOW I KNOW) I shouldn't be dragging germs around hither tither schools in Taupo region are BEING HIT HARD I WARN yall now IT IS NASTY!!!!!!

I am feeling fine though I hear it can hit in 45 mins you can be fine at 5pm by 6pm COMATOSE DYING and whammo vomit and poop for miles!!!! NOOOIIIIIIICCCCCCCEEEEEEEE... NOT

I am however going early tomorrow morning attempting to head out for a walk to clear my head SO I HAD BETTER get to BED EH! BECAUSE I have another long day tomorrow and AM NOT KEEN ON Missing out on a 2nd day of walking have walked every day for nearly a month now.... (if you count the hot foot shuffle home and out again!!!) and have been regularly walking on and off for over 8 weeks infact have lost count so THATS EVEN BETTER!

I went for the walk last night!!! got less than 500 metres down the road and had TO HOT FOOT it back home FARK FARK FARK ........... just in time AND I WAS SOOOOOOO MAD I went straight back out AND FAIR FLEW around my walk with steam coming out my ears and flames off me sneakers!!!!!

WET and WINDY ish today went to work no big drama there same ole same ole.

Made a scrummy dinner homemade schnitzel asparagus cheesy mashed potatoe, tomatoe zuchinni mushroom red onion layer bake, then I went for a walk!!! THIS time no drama and I MANAGED THE WHOLE LONG ROUTE got home JUST on dark was raining a little BUT figure next few days I may not be able to walk so will get the DREADED stationary bike out (BLURRRRKKK) hate that bike but any leg exercise is good and it fair gets your heart pumping!

The people I work for 1 person WAS REAL SICK on the weekend tummy bug and diarrohea and now I hear tonight 2 more of the family ARE DOWN with it WHY IN GODS name would you riskily expose others unnecessarily (namely me so selfish) if I was THAT CROOK I bet they wouldn't like it IF I turned up at their house AND INFECTED THEIR whole family!!!!! I PURPOSELY kept my son away from that family AS HE HAS camp next week SO HELP ME GOD IF I GET IT, like I NEED TO experience diarrohea!!!!!!!! lol he is coming home every day on the bus to my next door neighbours house so he can AT LEAST stay relatively GERM FREE I have washed and washed my hands and disinfected EVERYWHERE and EVERYTHING!!And everytime I have touched their taps or surfaces I have washed my hands THEY feel very CLEAN!!!

I awoke through the night had a most unsettled night and have my period 13-14 days early WTF, a few months ago IT was a quite a bit early too!!! SO not impressed. SURELY I am too young to be starting Menopause 41? Oh well whatever will just have to cross that bridge when IT HAPPENS I suppose!


I had an ok day WENT for my walk yesterday!!! FINE no dramas had a lovely dinner Roast chicken kumara potatoes and veges, I have kumara instead of potatoes TO try and lessen the CARBS and have twice as many veges as ANYONE ELSE, BUT I had a piece of chocolate cake with chocolate butter icing and peaches and cream SANDWICHED inbetween ADMITTEDLY it was the smallest piece AND it WAS GOOD!


Got up this morning earlyish for a Sunday 7am showered and RAN down to neighbours (my best friend) to watch the Rugby SHE is the person we also VISIT for all our super YUMMY DINNERS like last night!!! (we all go down and have a shared dinner) I got the chook and kumara she supplied the potatoes and veges.

WATCHED the All BLacks YEEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAA score and thrashed the FRENCH, was a GREAT GAME , SCORE was very close to being at least 14 points MORE THOUGH! her house is on the roadside AND THE LANGUAGE and yelling when we watch RUGBY Gawd NOISE CONTROL must visit us surely one day!!!

Have sunbathed and DONE NOTHING ELSE blardy fantastic I SAY!!!!!!!!

Am ahead on things to do for the week and AM PLEASED CAMP IS TOTALLY PACKED FOR they go to KAWAU ISLAND Monday the 7th at 6.30am they leave Taupo!!! Then they don't arrive back until Friday the 11th at 10pm!!!! So hope they have awesome weather !!!!

In the week Samuel is at Camp I am working BUT hoping to have ONE AFTERNOON off (faints and whoops BET it doesn't happen though!), OUR XMAS tree stuff is out of the cupboards and will go up NEXT WEEKEND! DOnt believe in putting it up before Month of December YAY I have managed TO GET SOME awesome pressies this year for my son, FUN things (thanks to Chris H) books and Sports bags and smellies HE is getting harder and harder to BUY for though.

I am heading out for a walk after dinner again OR MAYBE as it is hot I will cook and prepare dinner and go walking whilst everyone is eating and then have mine when I get back THAT WAY should I need picking up FROM MY WALKING ROUTE I have a driver here who can come and rescue me!!!

Up at 6.30am WTF

It is meant to be my slobbing DAY I was awake at blardy 6am I got up at 6.30am and had yoghurt and a banana then went back to bed READ some then up again, folded and put away last of washing hung some WASHING out from last night. Put away last nights dishes.

AFTER MY WALK yes I went out walking at 8.45pm (thought I would sneak in a QUICK WALK while all the AUSTRALIAN IDOL BULLSHIT of group songs and dramas get over with then I could settle and watch rest of show!!!!!) IT WAS BLARDY nice cool still just light and I NEARLY MADE it all the way home!!! GOT AS far AS my driveway after a 3km walk and MISSED 90% of Australian Idol as I had a shower to have and clothes too clean and a bathroom to clean up and DISINFECT I WONT SAY ANYMORE!!!!!!!! AND I sat down at 10pm AND ONLY got to see the last 30 mins GEEZ I was wild!

This morning it is overcast and RAIN CLOUDS BREWING!!!!! I have done one SMALL GARDEN we did the rest last night then did housework vaccumming bathroom kitchen etc dinner dishes and thats when I thought RIGHT WALK TIME!!!!!

I am now going to head out the DOOR FOR A WALK as IT IS going to RAIN this afternoon/night and I AINT walking in the RAIN!!!!!

AND SO HELP ME GOD IF I HAVE drama like last nights walk I WILL SLIT MY WRISTS!!!! (sorry if I offend anyone with that term)....

Fun in the Sun, Rain in Spain

An uneventful day at the SUPERMARKET at 7.50am getting groceries AS ALL THE OUT OF TOWNERS are here and its BEDLAM!!!! went to post office 8.30am at work 8.4oam worked until 2pm THEN SAT and waited until school got out GAWWWWWWWWWDDDDDDD it was hot!!! FOUND a shady spot by the school so I flung the car doors open and annoyed people via TEXT!!!! lol

HAD swimming lessons (well Samuel did), then braved the voyage home THOUGHT it would be horrendous BUT was quite quick MANAGED a lay in the sun 45 mins total, 22 mins one side 23 mins the other!!! and too dam hot otherwise AND I HATE that sweat dripping down your legs,arms,back,neck,face feeling (you get my drift).

Now just blobbing and waiting to get housework done which we are just starting then we will do gardens after dinner in the cool of the evening so WE CAN HAVE A TOTALLY SLOBBY weekend!! (Cause they said it was gonna RAIN) (AND I BLARDY washed all me sheets cause they SAID it was gonna RAIN!!!)...AND IM DOING MY GARDENS TONIGHT because they said its gonna RAIN!!!!!!!! AND I MOWED THE LAWNS last night because they said it was GONNA RAIN !!!!!!!

Check Check and Check

Went to the Warehouse (Check), before starting work at school, went to get the naturopathic drops after finishing at school (Check), whizzed home and SUNBATHED yay picked in ooooooooddddlllleeeesssssss of washing (Check) as I washed all our sheets and towels TO HANG OUT in the ferocious winds we have been having!!! and the weather is supposed to be crapola ON sat/sun....

COOKED a mean as steak and mushroom casserole with homemade dumplings for dinner breaded cauliflower and french garlic beans(FRESH), YUMMMMOOO is all I can say...


BUUUUUUUUUUTTTTTT Before I had dinner I mowed the lawns and then went on a walk BECAUSE I KNEW IF I sat down and ate the dinner I WOULDN'T get up!!!!

THE ROUND the LAKE CYCLE race is here and the FRIGGIN TRAFFIC honestly left home at 8.15am GOT TO school at 8.59!!! I start at 9am what should have taken 5 mins to get into Taupo took 30mins!!! most frustrating, YES I KNOW the people the money it generates BUT ITS NOT one days disruption its LIKE 6 days disruption THE PUTTING UP of scaffolds and seating and BIKE STANDS and then the cones the marshalls the ROAD CLOSURES!!!!!!

NOT too mention the SERIOUSLY depleted supermarket shelves I AM grocery shopping tomorrow at 8am so as to get LAST MINUTE ITEMS and pantry fillers and then I CAN CRUISE through until Tuesday before shopping AGAIN ( I HOPE) I plan to go to the MOVIES I missed out on seeing Julie & Julia as I got roped into helping a dance group set up for their recital and ferrying clothing and props to our GREAT LAKE CENTRE for the performance, and then when I had sunbathed and MADE SURE the housework and washing was all DONE I had misread the starting time of My Sisters Keeper!!! SO am determined to go to both this WEEKEND!!

Will work tomorrow then Sunbathe and try to fit in a walk then swimming lessons for Samuel he was selected by the Asthma Society funded "Confident Swimmers Children with Asthma" half the fees are paid and he seriously needs to sharpen up his skills he has arms and legs and strokes BUT LOOSES the breathing side of it PANIC and nearly chokes and drowns!!! AND THEN finish the LAST of me housework for A RELAXING weekend OHHHHHHHH but I have to squeeze some gardening in somewhere!too so maybe a semi relaxing weekend...

I am officially relaxing....

AND thats what I told myself when I was laying in the HOT AS SUN today I only managed 8mins on one side and 10 mins on the otherside CAUSE FELLA it was TOO HOT!!!

As of 8pm tonight I am relaxing, ALL WEEKLY JOBS (the running around shit type of stuff is DONE!!!!).BUT ............................ I do have to call into the Warehouse tomorrow and see if they have some stuff I need before I start at school, I have some Naturopathic drops to pick up FROM my naturopath (for Samuel to take on camp!!!) then HOME TO SUNBATHE again at 1pm then off to work again at 2pm.

AND CAMP PACKING is 99.99999% DONE YAY!!! Roll on 6am Monday morning the 4th Dec thats when they leave heading up to Auckland and towards Sandspit to catch the Ferry over to KAWAU ISLAND!!!!! (hope they have weather like the weather we are currently having!!!) They arrive back at 10pm Friday night of that week SO HE WILL BE KNACKERED!!!!!!!

Jaxx ya noodle OF COURSE I WILL do housework, like I did washing yesterday and TODAY and HAVE some on right now!!! And as per usual Friday's housework is done from 4pm - 5.30pm as I finish early on a Friday but have an appointment first then home!!! But its all those niggly add on jobs that have you running hither tither and yon!

Grabbed some more xmas pressies 50% kids books at Whitcoulls bought Samuel 6 books there so far!

I was good I went for a walk at 8pm just before sun went down AND still light enough to be seen by all!!!

Wind Walks and Well...

Still windy and YES true to my WORD 85% of my jobs for the week are DONE!!! yay yay yay I EVEN went for a walk at 8pm tonight as the sun was down and IT WAS COOL and very refreshing was really pleased with myself.

Tomorrow just have to buy a book in Whitcoulls sale and go to the BANK and I,m done!!! 100% of jobs done (so I can cruise for the rest of the week) THEN home to sunbathe!!!!

Chris H it is sort of isolated where I walk but loads of houses around and street lighting BUT not OVERLY lit if that makes sense at all and I AM AN imposing figure actually myself I WOULD NOT attack me IF I CAME across myself thats for sure I HAVE THAT FUCK OFF NODDY look and if you do mess with me YOU WONT GET up alive!!!!!

The kids at school loved my shared lunch today and cakes so that was another bonus AM heading off to bed at 10.30pm tonight I promised myself AS I GO TO BED far to late sometimes!!!!!

Just the start of the WEEK WTF!!!

Up at 6.30am hanging out washing, showered then made breakfast and did dishes Samuel made lunches, tidied up out the door by 8am dropped off son's bike to get puncture fixed, off to WOOLWORTHS for groceries before 8.30am where I went to post office to A: post one parcel and pay phone power and cellphone. BOUGHT fruit from quaint little fruiterer on my way to work at 9AM!!!! worked 9 - 12.30pm called into Westpac and ASB paid 2 trademe trades I had won!!! then straight home to sunbathe from 1 - 1.30pm 15 mins a side then up and getting breadcrumbs for tonights dinner. went back to work at 2pm worked 2 - 5.30pm.

Dropped SON at KARATE, came home made homemade crumb schnitzel (mixed herb crumb), corn fritters with cheese, courgette onion and mushroom browned off and then thickened in a tomatoe paste sauce all homemade, also served it up with garlic lemons garden beans FRESH!!!

WHILST doing all that I mixed a double batch of CHOCOLATE CAKE recipe and into the oven that went SERVED dinner got cakes out NOW the pan I cooked the schnitzel in I THEN ADDED mince onion garlic mushrooms and made my AS SEEN ON TV Nacho Mince into the crockpot that went with nacho mix satchet tin tomatoes tin chilli beans and tin spaghetti!!! when I had done all that I had my dinner THEN tackled the MOUNTAIN of dishes and tidied the bench up CUT IN HALF the rectangle cakes lengthwise, packed bag for school with jam and beater (to put together the black forest chocolate cake !!) AND YES wrote a list and note of the things to remeber from the fridge ALSO packed knives and spoons etc and serviettes grated cheese and got sourcream ready for nachos, THEN I COOKED the rice that I serve with the nachos in the foam cups, the rice is 3 cups rice to 6 cups water bring pot to the boil PUT lid on then turn right down NO STIRRING and this is the absorbtion method takes 25 -40 mins approx depending on rice used BUT YOU MUST WATCH it!!!!

Then I did the last of those dishes !!!!!

It was now 9.30pm I watched 10 mins of E.R. AND THEN...........................................................................................................................



I WENT FOR A WALK around the block 20 mins FAST PACED because A in the cool of the DARK EVENING AIR it was heaven (it has been quite hot here!! today) and I needed it too wind down FROM the above fastpaced stressful day as you can see from the above I have been HARD OUT all day and B: I am literally petrified of the dark!

NOW A: I didnt have to go to the toilet!!!

BUT picture a fast paced MAORI GAL doing a CHINESE GEISHA GIRL shuffle (as I dont do RUNNING!!!) as I AM PETRIFIED of the dark BUT I WAS FRIGGIN determined to get a walk in TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO yes my legs ache from the RANGISHUFFLE !!! I am now in my lava lava (sarong) and RELAXING finally!!!!!!! Oh I have put washing on though LAST LOAD so i am well in truly AHEAD!!!! and if ANY FARKER leaves jobs or lists for me TOMORROW I MAY JUST shove them down their throats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Tuesdays day is done and dusted have bike to pick up, Doctors appointment for the plethora (sp) of MEDICINES (all asthma related for camp!), then to Post Office and then to SCHOOL by 9.30am speak to TEACHER about 2 camp things then I WILL get home at 1.10 pm and sunbathe some more AND get a walk in at 1.45pm BEFORE I head back to work at 2pm - 8.30pm!!!!!

AND BELIEVE me when I say tomorrow by 9.30am 85% of my weeks jobs will have been completed I am wholeheartedly TELLING the truth!!! THANK THE LORD!!!!!!!!

AND if some of you have a headache now I am truly sorry!

Wind Walks Whoopsies

It is hot stinkin muggy hot and WINDY here!!!!

No surprises THAT I washed like a demon FRIDAY NIGHT 5 loads!!! and was still hanging out washing and fluffing at 11pm at night I HUNG out all the sheets and underblankets and all my clothes had to go on 2 clothes horses and MY MAGIC over the door clothes hanger!!(will take a photo one day of it).... I finished work around 3pm so NOT TOOOOOOO BAD, came home FOLDED UNTOLD washing then ironed!!!! (as you do) so I didn't have to do anything TODAY!! and what have i done today SWEET FARK ALL!!! I got up at 7.30am had quick shower ran to the neighbours WATCHED the AB's and then came home and went out for a walk!!!!! IN THE HOT STINKY MUGGY AIR!!!

I am getting into my groove again with the walking so that is good am on 4km walks now so will do that for 8 -10 days then go to 5km walks and up the ante again and see how my FOOT holds out!!!!!! As for the WHOOPSIES when I go out walking I last 1.5 - 2km mark then I need to go to the toilet NOW I DONT mean WEE's AND IT ABSOLUTELY does my head in, I will go to the toilet when I get up and EVEN during the MORNING BEFORE I WALK sometimes once or twice SO WHY DO I NEED TO GO AGAIN!!!!!!! AND AS SOON as I get out on my walks at about the halfway mark I NEED TO GO!!!!! (and it fair gives me a headache!!!).

Jaxx personal trainer SAID TO HER ONCE, when you walk squeeze your buttocks in LIKE YOU have a $50 note between them and you dont want to drop it !!!!!!! WELL for all the squeezing and INNARD holding in I DO I SHOULD HAVE BLARDY FANTASTIC LEGS!!!!!!!!!!! WHEN I was training for my first half marathon THE DOCTOR explained that constant walking loosens and MOVES along your BOWELS BUT GAWD SAKES man how many times must I GO IN A DAY currently anywhere between 2 - 5 times and more often than not on most days 3 times a day!!!!! SURELY I DONT EAT that much!!!!! ( I SHOULD on that statistic BE A FRIGGIN size 10 )


I have shopped and got loads of little pressies books and DVD's CD's and internet shopping (thanks Chris H), I have 2 small pressies to buy and I am done YAY FRIGGIN YAY!!!

I dont need gift wrap or tags and OUR tree will hopefully go up next weekend ANOTHER JOB DONE and dusted!!!!!

I have achieved alot of my list (that grew through the week) and ONCE Tuesday rolls in I will have completed 80% of the jobs on NEXT WEEKS LIST!!!!!! I have to have lists I AM A CHRONIC list maker and reshuffler and crosser outer!!! (hope that made sense!)

yep who would have guessed BUT "New Moon" started and we went along with half of town!!!! IT WAS GREAT!!!! Am a Team Edward gal myself BUT AFTER seeing TEAM JACOB in the strip down mode NOT SO SURE NOW!!!!!

VAMPIRE MOVIES and alike the mystery mystique and the romance ALWAYS HAS A GIRL swooning and a guy lusting!!!!

Son enjoyed it and we had dinner out!!! I worked late then rushed to the 6pm session! WAS MEANT to be going away this weekend BUT work has sprung HUGE WEEKEND work on me as of 5.30pm TONIGHT AM HIGHLY PISSED OFF!!!!!

SPLURGED on meself this week bought $47 Olay Regenrist Micro Sculpting Face Cream I LOVEEEE IT I have been using it for 3 days AND IT IS SOOOOOOO LUXURIOUS and leaves my skin so dam soft !!!!!

AND have been walking everyday so very proud of myself for that, worked 3 late nights and have to work this weekend will end up doing another 58 hour week AND NOOOOO SUNBATHING yet!!!!!!!!! SO WONDERING how I manage to fit everything IN (WHO KNOWS), but know that answering emails and updating BLOGS at 11pm at night might seem a bit OTT too some but thats how I ROLL!

Cakes,Cooking,Catching my breath...

Monday rolls around fast I woke at 6.10am went for a quick walk then yep you guessed it more washing, went to work (bought some more gear and toiletries for the boys camp!), Then home to COOK dinner, then bake 2 chocolate CAKES then cook rice for tomorrows dinner and prepare a steak and mushroom hot pot in the crockpot so I am ahead for tomorrow so far BUT still up!!!! IT IS 11.30pm I should be in bed BUT AM catching up on emails and blogs!

AND on that short and sweet note !!! IM OFF to nae nae's

Gorgeous SUNNY DAY yay...

ALL this week I have been working extra shifts (whilst the $ is good) THE ENERGY levels tumble), I pulled a 17 hour work day on FRIDAY(ended the week doing 56 hours) and boy did I pay for it yesterday I finished at around 1.30am woke at 8am, lay in bed and procrastinated STRUGGLED around for a walk, then groceries (A CHORE when you are knackered) came home sunbathed and snoozed a little ( well half dozzed(sp)) and managed chicken breasts and salad and the guys had garlic chips I had none!

BUT to get too that point I was up late THURS night washing sheets towels and underblankets, which hung out all day and my son picked everything in when he got home from school I then on FRIDAY morning I cleaned the bathroom kitchen and toilet, then at 6.30am put all my washing out which I had washed the night before and put the last 2 loads on before starting work at 8.30am, when my son got home from school FRIDAY arvo not only did he pick n and fold the washing HE COOKED homemade fish n chips (packet fish and packet wedges and made a little salad) for dinner AND he vaccumed and dusted and wiped the windowsills (he will sooooooo make a wonderful husband and help for some lucky partner!!!!) I GOT HOME saturday morn 1am TO A SPIC n SPAN house, the dishes had been washed and put away from dinner, and all the house was quiet!!!!

I IRONED on Saturday and did a meager grocery shop and THATS ALL I DID, today I have washed more blankets and underblankets and one medium load of clothes !!! WHERE I hear you ask does all ME WASHING come from (I DONT BLARDY KNOW!) gone for a walk and this morning it was much nicer, I have SUNBATHED Friday (in my lunchbreak I lay in the sun for 15 - 20 mins a side)/ Saturday and Sunday so my white legs are noooooooooo more and have now a nice colour going on!!! 2 weeks of 15 mins a side and I have olive tan going on (helps I am part maori!!)

Only 4 weeks to my sons camp HE SOOOOOOOO looking forward to it, We have 95% packed already and just have to get 2 pr socks and his ASTHMA medication and witches brews (homeopathic stuff) organised for camp! YAY

THERE is no one home at the moment AND the house is quiet blimmin lovely!!!!!

I am off to read!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to the movies tonight to see "This is It", to me it was fabulous and certainly worth it!!! I have been a fan of MJ forever it seems I have ALL HIS ALBUMS and ALTHOUGH the movie was AWESOME I cried through the first half and was ok through the second HOW can ONE FILM make you really Sad and Happy at the same time? I took my young son HE WAS BLOWN AWAY we got home at 10.45pm!!!! was the highlight of my week!!

Classic MJ moves and songs and in the cinema AMAZING sound the dancing was unreal and the legacy he has left is huge! THE dancers and crew MUST have been absolutely devastated THE AUDITION dancers were crying at the start JUST at being selected WAS REALLY emotional!!

Gorgeous FEW DAYS .......

We went to the Rotorua Markets yesterday Samuel and I shot over in the morning I bought him a new bone (Maori Carved pendant) from a local artist whom has been carving for over 40 years (I have bought several significant pieces fromt his man over the last 7 years)it was his birthday present (1 month later I know) BUT I gave him my BONE on his actual BIRTHDAY day 16 years old it is he had it on less than 2 hours and the string broke (SO thats his omen HE wasn't meant to have it ), I got a new string for mine BUT aren't happy with the colour the man gave me it for free (R$19) then he gave me $9 off the piece I bough for Samuel (R$89) and then he gave me A FREE greenstone PENDANT (R$30) which we will gift onto our Chinese student who will be with us at XMAS so all in all I have had a lovely 3 days!!!!!

Although we have had BLARDY frosts YES FROSTS!!! the pay off is BIG FAT SUNS!!! and with that I did all my housework gardening everything I have walked every day for the last 5 days so thats good! taking a little puppy out n about at night too has helped BUT that wasnt walking it was more ambling for about 40 mins! each time.

So far this long weekend I have SUNBATHED (the glare I KNOW SWORRY!), READ one whole book "Sleepers" about the systematic abuse of 4 boys in a boys home(USA) GRAPHIC VIOLENT and SAD (a true story!), read my Mana magazine did I say sunbathed OH YEAH I did just my LEGS though as my face and arms are lovely and brown !

Have helped cook two glorious dinner Roast Lamb and new potatoes asparagus and zuchinni and bean platter, then Rhubarb crumble, then Schnitzel mashed potatoe cauliflower cheese and garlic mashed peas with FRESH MINT!!! (my new FAD yummo) Boil peas lightly then mash in 1 tsp garlic a little margarine and FINE chop fresh mint BOOTIFUL add alittle raw sugar!Followed by coconut sponge type cake with lemon syrup (homemade), JUST AS WELL I am walking at the moment.

When I was sick I lost 8kg I have only put back on 1kg so figure thats not too bad huh!

Tonight it is Chicken with Satay Chicken Rub with salad and cous cous! gawd I'm hungry now! The guys can have icecream slices with wafers I am having fruit salad! (homemade).

Strangely enough I dont want to go back to work tomoorw I have 2 late nights this WEEK and have to work Saturday so I am squeezing in my walking first thing in the morning (IF my insides HOLD OUT that is!!!) and IF AT ALL it is sunny through the week I will attempt to sunbathe for sometime inbetween jobs, HAVE AN AWESOME week everyone!
p.s (I did squeeze in some washing and ironing too SO I didn't have withdrawals from housework!)

For once twiddling my thumbs NOTHING happening!

Yesterday in Taupo (sunny ish a little cold) spent the morning GARAGE saleing, and mooching and grocery shopping, nothing exciting, HAD gorgeous chicken and a curry sauce for dinner with NEW SEASON asparagus cauli carrots and mushrooms all mixed in and lightly steamed JUST divine and some new potatoes!!! tonight mini meatballs and spaghetti with garlic bread HOMEMADE(the garlic butter that is).

Back at work this week and it was GOOD(school work teacher Aide etc), 7 weeks until school camp and then only 8 1/2 weeks until end of SCHOOL, MY SON is off to college next year and is EXCITIED!!!!!!!! as hell.

HAVE DONE most of my xmas shopping only have Samuel left to buy for so that is good nothing drastic he is getting new beach towels, body board and a sports bag he saw one of his presents already in the car a shoulder bag the ones that the boys wear slung diagonal over their shoulders like a satchel, so thats cool picked it up garage saleing. (Saw one for $130 down to $65!! outrageous!! in a closing down bag sale here)

I am sooo on top of my cleaning gardening and spring cleaning I have nothing to do AND NOW I WISH I could sew!!!! Then I could make things (NOT LIKE Chris H though), I might look and getting a cheap sewing machine and venturing into sewing (thats a dream though) ...

I have a banana box in my garage and have been adding TINS of fruit and food like jellies biscuits and crackers and toiletries through the year to spread over xmas etc and it normally lasts over 4 weeks in the xmas period and I dont have too buy many groceries just fruit and veges!! (have been stock piling CHEAP cuts of meat in my friends CHEST FREEZER I SOOOOOOOOOOO wish I had a bigger fridge/freezer!!! and WISH I hadn't given my CHEST FREEZER AWAY) Have 3 weeks ahead of meat towards XMAS so fingers crossed it ALL LASTS over xmas AND I get a break from SHOPPING (food)..... We normally get a Turkey given to us and A HAM so thats xmas and NEW YEAR sorted then the groceries just spread out over holidays and I normally dont have to grocery shop for 4 weeks or so!

OH yay 2 fine days in a ROW the glory of it BUT FARK did we have to have frosts with is AND BOY OH BOY it is gonna be a big frost tonight I can tell!!!!

I have every windiw and door open in the house and IT IS BLISS, so that helps with the spring cleaning YEAH!!! ALL FINISHED and then to air the house out ALL DAY NOOOOOOOOOIIIIIIIIICCCCCEEEEEEEEE.... Samuel has Butter chicken in the crockpot he is doing RICE and beans and peas strange combination BUT HIS CHOICE!

I will miss him going back to school we have pottered around gardening cleaning and clearing draws cupboards HE HELPED me do all the cleaning and clearing and gardening and then did the cooking too!!! Under supervision of course but he is rocking up there TO BE ABLE to self support SOON!!! (leaving home inserts TUI AD )......

Off to watch more BATHURST and maybe get some reading in and file my nails BLISS I tell ya see I AM READING and relaxing!!!!

End of holiday for me......

At the end of my few days off I have finished ALL my spring cleaning EVEN the linen cupboard OHHHHHHHHHHHH and DID I MENTION I also cleaned out my PEG BUCKET!!! ANAL I know but I took all the broken half and brittle pegs and turfed them YALL know the ones that you keep picking up!!!!

Samuel cooked SOYA chicken tonight on a bed of rice and did julienne carrots beans and some breaded cauliflower!!!!!!! The chicken I slow cook in the crockpot immersed in LIGHT SOY SAUCE all day and its TENDER as and salty YUM!

Family back and back to work for me today 7 hours hard into it ! THEN RAIN all day and well SNOW and RAIN tomorrow I have no ruddy jobs left to do either I have cleaned wiped sorted tidied my self out OF A JOB I AM READING tomorrow I AM!!!! Might whizz me son into Whitcoulls he has $60 in vouchers to still spend yet from ages ago first thing in the morning BEFORE all the MAD HOLIDAY makers start heading South/North!

I am helping my friend later Saturday to prepare for Bathurst Day we make homemade Chicken Liver and port Pate with garlic toasted bread slices for the Pate and do a cheese board and fresh fruit, carrots baby toms cucumber and dip etc, BUT for BREKKIE we have a FAIR cook up Bacon,sausage,egg,toms,mushrooms,hash browns, AND WAFFLES then we dont eat again until TEATIME unles you count the nuts chips dip pate and fruit inbetween OH and have BUCKS FIZZ (flash champagne stuff) AND the YELLING at the TV helps .......... and I DONT CARE IF IT SNOWS RAINS OR HAILS I am inside all day on SUNDAY!!!!

Having ya FACE ripped off????!!!

well today I treated myself to MICRODERMABRASION !!!!!! 1/2 price special at my Beauty Therapist (I haven't been there for like 2 years) I got a text SCHOOL HOLIDAY special, was $130, THEY send 15% vouchers for your birthday and I used that so got it done for $55 JESUS well worth it and MY skin was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and SOFT and GLOWING (a little stingy during the treatment), but after having multiple tattoos, a my tongue pierced some 15 years ago it WAS NOTHING!

I have smooth as babies bottom skin ! Would highly reccomend it BUT not if you have thin weak or sensitive skin! So I have a NEW FACE NEW HAIR(well a trim), was SUNNY today BUT the WIND!!!!! blardy hell that was stiff and breezy...

At the moment I have 6 loads of washing (2 are done ready to hang in the morning) 4 are waiting to be done, I will get 1 more load done tonight, then I get to time set my machine to automatically WASH, I have a LG FRONT LOADER, I LOVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEE IT!!! AND given the weather is turnign to custard again HENCE THE MEGA WASH!!!!!!!!

So yall can guess what tomorrow day will entail hanging out washing and IRONING!!! ohhhhhh MY FAV, 3 loads is light stuff sheets etc and polar fleece gear, rest is annoying heavy stuff!!! I am going to do some more gardening and ENJOY my last day of holiday!!!

Last night Samuel stayed at a friends, tonight he cooked schnitzel, with mashed spuds and a medley mix of fried gourgette red onion and toms (fresh) with basil (which takes about 5 mins max to cook), IT was scrummy!!!!

RAIN ROTORUA and RUNS

THIS IS my hair after the TRIM at the hairdressers as of OCT 9th it will be 4 months since I have had my hair straightened I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT BUT YOU CAN NOT have colour in your hair at all to have it DONE like mine so for those considering it I THINK it is worthwhile !!!

This is our language student Chen with Samuel the night of the maths competition Chen is 18 Samuel is 13!!!!! It is going along great guns, and I am likely to have this student with us until END of January....

Well I have been unwell for a few days on and off, been to DOCTOR and have to be on a syrup for 48 hours NO FOOD, I have lost 5kg, in 5 days NOT CUTEY, I am not holding much down, hence the runs!!Feel ok for awhile then cramps and pains and not ok the next.Have had tests and more tests and more tests ... I started feeling unwell Thursday arvo and left it until Monday arvo CAUSE WILD HORSES and NEAR DEATH wasn't going to make me BUDGE from my house over the weekend!!! (I told the doctor I have been sniffing too many cleaning fumes!!!)

RAIN need I say more BUT wait there is more throw in sleet, hail, snow wind and FREEZING weather and THATS not cutey cutey either.

ROTORUA went this morning and sipped syrup all day mildly pleasant (the syrup ) I WANTED to go I HAD to go and get out of the house and the cabin fever scenario, sunny there BUT HELLISHLY windy cold FROM you guessed it TAUPO, I didn't venture near any food places and coped alright admidst many toilet stops! TMI I know... End of Day I bought some new lingerie, A polypropylene top for Samuel, looked at a heap of bags towels sheets even jewellery BUT nothing took my fancy, Samuel bought some games (with his birthday $), and that was it .....

Sipping on some syrup before bed I WOULD so love to sleep through the night tonite without having to trudge in the COLD to the toilet!!! PLEASE NIGHTIME bed GODS be nice to me!

BBQ weather (Insert Tui Ad here)....

Well I must say IT has rained all night and gotten heavier and heavier all day and then rain sleet hail rain sleet hail YOU get the drift, AND all the roads south are closed!!!!!(south of Taupo) ...

Well I cleaned the oven (it did'nt really need it BUT I WAS DESPERATE to do something!), I then cleaned the inside of the windows I got visitors so WHIPPED up some scones and threw sausage rolls into oven (freshly cleaned) for everyone 4 men and 3 boys!!!!!! man can they eat (they the guests also bought fish n chips to share) and everything was eaten amongst hot chocolates and coffee and POTS of tea, they the stoopid people were looking at caravans I MEAN to say WTF!!! in this weather sheesh!! (they travelled down from Tauranga!!)

NO I DID NOT clean the BBQ not even 1 MILLION DOLLARS would have enticed me out into the weather so that may be another job anytime soon!!! I still have 1/3 of a book to finish and a MAGAZINE i must get into it is the MANA MAGAZINE I have amassed so far 90 MAGAZINES they come out only 3 copies a year or 4 copies so I have been collecting for a few years now hell nearly 17 years I have every issue from 1 - 90, NOW there are several isssues you can't get anymore OUT OF PRINT so I feel I am lucky I love the stories in them and love the photographs!

AT this rate I will nothing to do until Thursday but alas I am vaccuming tomorrow whoooppee, just to freshen up and I am getting my hair trimmed so will post my nice hair (hairdressers always straightened and brush and preen your hair better than you!).

Tuesday I am off to Rotorua hopefully for the whole day,Samuel has a sleepover Tuesday night and then he has a friend over on Wednesday (holidays are the only time he catches up with friends as he comes to my work after school everyday), he has had a friend over Friday afternoon Sat arvo, Sun morning then someone different to the movies to see G Force, then tomorrow he has someone coming for the day!!! HE HAS A DAM better social life than me !!

He has to squeeze in 3 more friends from Thursday to Sunday before school goes back, I have decided that every Friday afternoon he can have somone over for the arvo and dinner so he can feel more connected to his friends he gets invited everywhere and I feel stink having fleeting visits of his friends!!!! because of my work committments..

I LOOOOOOOOVVVVVVEEEE the holidays....

I AM OFFICIALLY on holiday my family I work for is away from Sat - Thurs AND I AM making the most of it. Yesterday I worked 5 hours, then hell cleaned my own place in amongst doing all OUR sheets yes I managed to get 3 loads of washing done and dried and did the ironing and then I mowed the lawns I AM DANGEROUS at the moment LAST TIME I FELT like this I was pregnant (13 years 9 months ago) BUT ALAS you have to have S E X to manage that and thats something I AIN'T doing at the MO.

So far today I washed again I have done the last of me gardening, then I HUCKED (tidied) out my garage and managed a whole trailer load including a defunct fridge, so THEN I went through all the cupboards and pantry and bathroom cupboards spare room cupboards etc (you get the picture) I GATHERED up all my unwanted stuff broken toys rubbish magazines papers etc and threw them out I went through every wardrobe and THOROUGHLY de cluttered, I also washed and did more ironing!! SPRING is here thats for sure I rearranged garage and then onto the outside windows ALL WASHED and sparkling.

MY SON has cooked dinner 3 nights in a row and is cooking all this week I AM coaching from the sides offering tips and advice as he goes he has so far done Roast chicken and roast veges homemade gravy and all the trimmings, then he did Fri night Spag Bol homemade pasta sauce and spaghetti garlic bread, then tonight meatballs and rice asparagus and julienne carrots tomorrow is sausage casserole and mashed potato and cauli/broc in a cheese sauce, he is so good at cooking he has made scones today for lunch and did pikelets for pudding, I started cooking with him when he was a little fella 2 years old cutting chopping and GATHERING the food from the fridge and WHATEVER size they the veges were cut thats what they stayed as, he has been at my side cooking for a longtime and he loves it YAY he makes a MEAN chocolate cake too, and muffins, chocolate chip cookies, he does a mean nacho mince, and does funky meat and vege kebabs, and next I will do the schnitzel thing and this SUMMER I will teach him the fine art of BBQ NOT BURN but good cooking most people cook too high and too fast I on the other hand take ages on the BBQ and garlic, oil and marinades ARE my thing basting etc!!!!

OHHHHHHH theres another 2 jobsI have sprayed the oven to clean it and for tomorrow CLEAN and freshen up BBQ and fill gas bottle!!!

Boy I had better sleep tonight CAUSE I feel wired!!!! Too much cleaning I feel sniffing the fumes perhaps....

Were all going on a summer holiday.....

YEAH RIGHT!!!! (try raining holiday) first day of the holidays and I'm awake 5.50am, ITS pouring with rain has been for the last 4 days is damp and miserable.

I love the holidays not rushing in the morning more relaxed still in your PJs at like 10am!!!! or later (have showered though), cooked brekkie's, some down time with my son (we play cards board games until it gets too competitive(me)....

Came home yesterday did a hell clean and tidy made dinner then blobbed, and DID I SLEEP IN no(darn it), achieved some jobs though paperwork in bed (how exciting), and have done all me jobs for today (already ironing and washing), so thats it I am settling in too read a book and THATS IT!!!! Might be a long day as its only 9.07am!!!! Maybe a nana nap or three today.Have no excuse to go out today OR even tomorrow have groceries lotto and well DONT need anything so will save money even!

Birthday .........

My baby boy is officially a TEENAGER (13) as of 5.57am today, I get a photo every year of him (always asleep BUT I bet the next few years might be AWKARD as he gets older!!!!)... This is him in his dress uniform for school taken the other night FOR the maths competiton (the team had to be in No 1 dress uniform!)

His Birthday started on Saturday " Commando Paintball" and NOOOOOOOOOOO not the naked commando!

HUGE fun natural bush setting paint guns and HOOPLAH aplenty!

Then mud buggies and driving and crashing!!! ALL boy stuff then a BBQ afternoon dinner pools and SLEEP!!!!!

Today he wakes at 5.57am when THE FLASH goes off and gets into my bed promptly falls asleep and I AM WIDE AWAKE. Last night he made 2 chocolate cakes for us too take to school to share in his class, we went to McD for brekkie, I worked Teacher Aide and then at interval ICED cakes and put JAM and CREAM between the layers (2 cakes here), they went down a treat.He bought his lunch from canteen, then he had kebabs for dinner and a SCHOOL DISCO to go too, HE throughly enjoyed himself. HE HAS eaten and grazed all day he got $90 vouchers $80 cash smellies, A MANS toolbox tools and workbench for his woodworking, cards and yeah so had a blast and is promptly knackered.

But quietly tells me ITS the best Birthday ever and he has had a ball all day! (and he loves me!) got a huge kiss and cuddle then off to bed he went. (yes I still get cuddles and I TAKE THEM cause I know they aren't going to happen for much longer!)

I did a STUPID STUPID thing.......

and I fully hang my head in shame and embarrassment. THE bowflex I have so desperately wanted and dreamed of having I COULD NOT BUY (the money I got was you guessed it a TAX REFUND) it was substansial (for me anyhow) and it went in on the 8th I checked my balance BUT I HAD already rung them and said they had it wrong they ASSURED me it was correct I bid on and won the bowflex went to get money on the 10th (IT HAD been reversed!!!!! waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa) and I was left VERY redfaced and had to ring peopleI spewed for 2 hours after with stupid guilt for stuffing them around FOR LEAVING myself in a DUMB DUMB position AND then I cried myself to sleep that night for BEING SO DUMB, and knowing that I I HAVE missed a golden opportunity for ME (just once FOR ME!) I rang tax department Monday as not only had they reversed it had temporarily frozen my account!!!! Fuckers!!! and the worst part WAS if I had gone to the bank on the 9th and taken it out (I didnt want all that money stting in my purse) I would be paying the IRD back at $10 a week BUT NO becauseI am careful and honest I got burn't (careful to the point I blardy duped myself out of $780 !!!!!)
I could have used the money I had in my bank account (but that then meant NO MONEY whatsoever for RENT or FOOD let alone petrol and power for the coming week and JUST living it was the crappiest moment of my entire life!)

So I have no bowflex and feel stink......

I WILL never ever bid on anything unless I HAVE the money in my hot little hands(anything over $50.......

Last weeks DUMBARSE award surely goes to me!

I DID IT I SPLASHED OUT and BOUGHT!!!!!!!

A BOWFLEX TREADCLIMBER!!!!!!!!!!! listed through trademe, and it is in my own hometown....... for only $650 listed yesterday saw it last night bought it this morning!!!

I have been wanting one of these for YEARS!!!!! and they retail at $3200 Elite have them at the moment for $1695 (incl postage) and I went on trademe last nite (auction website) and voila IT WAS THERE I cheekily asked for viewing so I could get phone number and I rang this morning convinced them of a BUY NOW and I BOUGHT NOW!!!!!! The husband is a runner and it isnt long enough in the mat for his stride (I AINT doing any RUNNING on it) so there loss my ABSOLUTE GAIN!!!!!! THEY wanted it out as he wants a treadmill and he has been nagging at his wife to list it AND SHE DID!!!!


YAY FRIGGIN YAY they are just around the corner from me and they are delivering it Friday afternoon YAY BLOODY YAY........ this is the best thing since sliced bread and I cant wait I was tired last night and was looking around the trademe site and there it was (that was fate I reckon)I cant believe my luck I could have almost done cartwheels!!!!

So that is my only news and I am thrilled !!!

Nice hair day still..........

AND I still have nice hair nearly 3 months on I LOVVVVEEEEEEE my hair I love it cause it always looks nice EVEN on a windy day even on a RAINY day I JUST LOVE IT!!!!!!!

Today I got to sleep in BUT only cause I was up tending to a burn victim!!!!!!!! The language student that stays with us was heating up something in the microwave (in a cup) and spilt hot water on his chest and neck RUSHED to shower 5 mins in FREEZING cold water, then 20 mins COLD PEAS and 5 mins off then 20 mins cold corn then 5 mins off, (under advisement from hospital )RED SKIN and tender BUT NO BLISTERING ( they said to monitor him BUT because it hadnt blistered straight away his clothes had mostly absorbed the hotness before reaching skin) he slept the minx whilst I iced and paced and iced and paced I got to bed at 1.40am awake again at 4.30am when I heard him get up and I checked on him and applied some BURN GEL sourced from WOOLIES at 11.50pm, then asleep again awoke to A FRIGGIN nextdoor neighbours dog barking that type of BARK that goes RIGHT THROUGH you when you are friggin tired (AND I had one of those HEAD SPLITTING headaches!!!! from lack of sleep) at 8am I took 2x nurofen at 8am then 2 panadol at 10am ate toast and more toast (carb cravings from tiredness).

BUT sat in the sun and had a coffee and a chicken turkish bun with fig relish (delish) at lunchtime, THE WEATHER stunning today and I even FOUND more washing did my PITYFUL ironing and was invited to my friends for dinner ROAST PORK with all the trimmings, and minted sugared garlic blended peas(to die for) have actually perked up a bit and feel QUITE human have aired blankets in the SUNSHINE love that sun fresh smell!!!!! Did I slob well not really but have achieved alot this week EVEN though I have worked 6 days (52 hours). I thought I would have faded fast this afternoon BUT I managed to hold my own I am pleased with all the jobs I managed to get through this week, what with working extra and MAJOR assignments due in at SCHOOL, its the running around sourcing EXTRA materials needed and resources for the said students to complete tasks.... roll on next week is all I can say, I am ahead and for once DON'T have to start the week with a list a mile long to complete!!!! (I am a chronic list maker).....

Been awhile and still the $ keep coming....

Have had another windfall $790 so that is a bonus AND THIS time I am spending some money on myself A BLARDY nice change, some NEW CLOTHES ARE desperately needed so I may get a chance to buy for myself and some boring bits socks(for walking) (undies the ones I am wearing are TOO BIG), and some 3/4 pants, YIP real exciting!!!! lol work hectic life hectic and kids (my own and the language student ) still rocking along normal boy and teenage things bicker argue, he said he goes, ITS not my turn too, MUST be the same the whole world over eh!!!! classic

AM IN MAJOR need of a sleep in myself worked 6 days this week 12 hours ALONE today so I am pootang (tired) as!!!

AM ALL caught up on my washing and ironing SO TOMORROW is SLOBBY ARSE DAY!!!!

Thought I would put up a photo of Samuel when they had book week at School and the theme ORIGINALLY was Jurassic Period or Cavemen etc Flintstones well ONE WHOLE class dressed as the Flintstones and even had THE REAL Mccoy Flintstones car!!!!!!! they were Pebbles Bam Bam and Wilmas Bettys Fred and Barneys etc really cool well my son went as HIS ANCESTORS I'm sure and scarily enough he looked the part too. (now have to look WHERE I put the photo!!!

Next photo is of the karate night on August 13th HIS BLACK BELT night!!!!! With the infamous Takahashi WHEN his black belt arrives from Japan and is presented the next time Takahashi is here I will of course get a photo then too!

Well last week finally came to an end on Sunday with Mon/Wed/Thurs/Sat/Sun ALL karate days and really enjoyable,A BREATHER from sports RUGBY all over and we cruised into the week, MONDAY wonderful all ahead on washing housework etc etc, Tuesday no dramas Teacher Aide work fine, My Main Job fine, go to bed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WED MORN CHAOS CENTRAL young lad staying with us wakes up feet hit the floor COLLAPSES in excruciating pain in stomach RUSHED to ROTORUA HOSPITAL Appendicitis, on WED he goes in stays the night AND TODAY WAS HIS BIRTHDAY (he turned 13), the nurses spoilt him and we got him a greenstone pendant a double twist signifying Friendship and a merging of two cultures (he loved it), he has calmed down and they aren't operating at this stage they are adopting a wait and see approach, THERE was a Saudi Doctor there for them to talk too so that was nice for them, (his older sister went with him), his other sister and younger brother stayed back here so all in all a few rushed days.

Oh on the karate front haven't heard about the team results but will do soon know doubt, as they have loads of districts to view and other DOJO's to look at.

Forgot to add the Award was my son for 2nd in the Argumentative Essay writing on "Are we in our need and desire for food contributing to the Barbaric and Systematic Cruelty to Animals?....

HE GOT HIS BLACK BELT!!!!!

What happened is March 2009 he got his 2nd brown belt (brown belts have 3 levels before black), then there was meant to be another belt grading in June WELL they the masters didn’t have one and that meant Samuel WOULD have sat his last brown belt AS BLACK BELTS can only be graded by “Takahashi” the Japanese master he only comes every 8 months….. I complained saying I felt it was unfair that Samuel trains twice a week for 2 1/2 years and misses getting his black belt because of administration cockups END RESULT Takahashi heard our case and awarded him his black belt (THIS HAS NEVER been done before!!!!)MY YOUNG SON is ecstatic and I took him to Breakers to celebrate and he was buzzing !!!! A VERY proud mother moment……he absolutely deserves it and this weekend is the 2 day SQUAD TRAINING for the NZ TEAM!!!!!!! (Takahashi is here to choose team members) BY INVITATION ONLY brown and black belt go and the Team chosen from those present!!!

So all his determination practice and hard work HAS PAID OFF!!!!

Will come back on after the weekend and update if I have a NZ ATHLETE in the house!!!!!

Washing again FARK it ALL where does it come from....

It is 9.45pm I am upwaiting for the 4th load of washing I have done since 3pm today to finish so I can hang the light things over my dinky over the door hanger clothesline thingy, then BED we have to be up at 6.50am to be ready fed showered and out the door by 7.45am for rugby (going to Te Kuiti), then from there onto TAURANGA (to see Al, Jaxx, Keren, Debbie n Kevin ) all in less than 24 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have packed already and even have our spare single fold up bed in the back of the car, blankets etc, in the morning all we have to load in is toothbrushes one more blanket, pillows, and, because we are away I worked today from 9am - until 3pm then came home stripped 3 beds and remade, did 4 loads washing (1 load inside already drying LIGHT things spread between over door hanger and one clotheshorse), the rest is sheets towels and uniforms!!!!! allw shed ready to hang out in the morning and a small amount of clothes.THEN I cleaned the bathroom, kitchen and GOT tea on and served up DID the dishes all by 6.30pm! then cleaned toilet and my son vaccumed whole of the house, WHILST I was doing all that though my son packed bag for tomorrow (RUGBY), his bag for going to Tauranga, then his BAG for Karate(MONDAY and we will be late back on Sunday), ALSO his bag for his SKI TRIP on Tuesday so I could see if anything else was needed before then BECAUSE I HATE running around at the last minute looking for things!!!!!! BECAUSE my pet hate is rushing around AND I like to be organised beforehand (mostly) AND I SURE as hell didnt want to come home to washing and housework!!! I friggin hate that more!!!!!!!

And on that note people my washing is finished and I must search through for the light things and then head to NAE NAE's!!!!!!!
